Whitmore-Lindley Theatre Center
Also known as: James Whitmore Theatre and Audra Lindley Theatre
The Whitmore-Lindley Theatre Center is made up of two separate theatres, both named after well respected people in the industry. They are the James Whitmore Theatre and the Audra Lindley Theatre. Each theatre seats about 50 patrons. The stages are small and the actors are close to the audience. The viewer will witness the drama unfold right in front of them.
Located in the center of the action in North Hollywood's NoHo Arts District, the Whitmore-Lindley has been the host to some of the most compelling dramas in Los Angeles. For comedic relief, they regularly welcome different improv troupes in the neighborhood. The theatre also occasionally produces theatre just for children.
From the improv to the dramas, this establishment offers something for everyone. Whether it's a fairytale or the tale of a football coach, the Whitmore-Lindley theatres will excite and intrigue you. Often the center will have multiple shows running simultaneously. At the theatre, it is possible to see at least three different shows run in a week.
