The Road Theatre, located at the Lankershim Arts Center, is a proud resident of the NoHo Arts District. The Road is committed to producing and developing new, original, and innovative works. The Road Theatre Company offers quality theatre to the surrounding community.
In 1991 a group of dedicated theatre artists and administrators came together to form The Other Side of the Hill Productions, Inc. a.k.a. The Road Theatre Company. By 1998 they won the contract to be the sole organization that is responsible for the arts programming at the Lankershim Arts Center. The 1930's art deco style building once was home to L.A.'s Dept. of Water and Power.
The simple design and close, intimate seating ensures a wonderful experience at this venue. There is no need to fight for a seat here, as all seats are within 10 feet of the stage.
