Joe has over 20 years of leadership experience in the non-profit and live entertainment industry. He has worked with non-profit groups of all sizes, as well as major arenas and attractions, professional sports teams, festivals, and touring theatricals. Throughout his career he has been involved in every aspect of the industry, from box office management, to operations, sales, marketing, touring, product development and business strategies, as well as client services.
Joe spent seven years with Tickets.com providing key leadership on client acquisition and retention, product development strategy, and account management.
A Midwest native and California transplant, Joe can sometimes be seen treading the boards of a local theatre and in his earlier career he served as Director of Front of House Operations for the Des Moines Community Playhouse and held professional stage and company management positions with companies such as Gurtman and Murtha Artists, Circa 21 Productions,
Asian Artists International, Bill Fegan Attractions, and Columbia Artists Management International.
Steve, one of the co-founders of SeatAdvisor, has been in the software development business for more than 25 years. After receiving his degree from the University of California at San Diego, he spent 12 years in system programming, Unix kernel drivers, raster/vector graphics applications, and graphical user interface code development for a wide range of products. For four years he led a team of programmers deploying document imaging applications for Unix platforms. Steve spent three years running his own consulting firm specializing in distributed client/server network applications before joining SeatAdvisor. His contracts included key roles on the Sun Microsystems UE10000 server project, the CNGT ESCRIPT2 system, a three-tier accounting application for natural gas transmission in West Virginia and a networked bond trading system conceptualized at Cal Tech and in use by State Street Bank of Boston. As CTO of SeatAdvisor, Steve researches and designs prototypes and implements new features within SABO, maintaining the company’s competitive edge in the industry. As the tech team member with the longest tenure and most in depth knowledge about the various system components, Steve monitors the system on a daily basis to ensure performance is meeting the needs of our customers, including hands-on monitoring of large on-sales.
Jolly has been with SeatAdvisor since 2008. In addition to overseeing the company’s HR department, Jolly also directs the day-to-day accounting responsibilities and supervises the month-end closing activities for various accounting functions. Jolly is also responsible for the preparation of all financial reports. Prior to joining SeatAdvisor, Jolly worked for Sony Electronics in their Home Products Division as a Senior Financial Analyst. During her time with Sony, Jolly was responsible for the overall analysis of financial statements, as well as the preparation of annual budgets, half year revised budgets, mid-range plans and other forecasts. Prior to relocating to San Diego, Jolly resided New York City, where she worked for many large corporations, namely Credit Suisse First Boston, where she served as the Senior Financial Analyst in their Global Market Data Services Division. Jolly holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Seton Hall University as well as a Master of Art in Art History from Hunter College.
A native of Chicago, Steve completed his degree in Theatre from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. His theatrical career began as a House Manager for The Vineyard Theatre in NYC but went on to include box office roles with TheatreworksUSA and grassroots marketing roles with 101 Productions, Ltd, a Broadway Theatrical Management Company. Prior to joining the team at SeatAdvisor as a Client Account Manager, Steve spent nearly 9 years working for the legendary Tony Award Winning Broadway producer, Daryl Roth, as both an Associate General Manager for her Union Square venue and as Director of Marketing for many of her off-Broadway productions and special events. During his time at The Daryl Roth Theatre, Steve managed over 900 performances of the International Hit, De La Guarda. He boasts a collection of over 1,000 ticket stubs from various events he has attended thus far (as a patron), and he takes great pleasure in working with venues of all kinds to ensure they are benefiting from SABO as much as possible.
A native of Ireland, Rory joined the team at SeatAdvisor’s San Diego Global Headquarters in 2011, having previously spent six years as the Operations Manager for SeatAdvisor Europe, located in Dublin. During his time in Ireland Rory was responsible for all new client go lives, onsite training, client support and hardware implementations as well as liaising with the US team to handle remote quality assurance and testing. Prior to working in the European office, Rory worked in the telecommunications field with Vodafone, one of the world’s largest mobile and broadband networks, in their retail sales division. Rory is also a shareholder in the European arm of SeatAdvisor and sat on the Board of Directors during his tenure there.
