Brent is one of the founders and director of SeatAdvisor. He served as president and chief executive officer for the first two years of operations (October 1998 to January 2001) and then again from October 2002 to present. He was educated at California State University Dominguez Hills where he received a B.S. in computer science. He began his career with TRW as a programmer in artificial intelligence research and development. He left TRW to become a senior programmer at Information Sciences Institute (USC) where he co-developed and implemented a cross platform graphical database interface. Brent then founded L B Innovators, Inc., now called Ergoware Corporation, to manufacture and distribute ergonomic computer products that he developed and patented. In 1998, Brent sold Ergoware Corporation and founded SeatAdvisor, Inc. raising over $5 million in angel and venture funding. He owns three product patents, has extensive knowledge about the live event ticketing industry and has over 25 years of experience in management, finance, sales, internet marketing, product development and manufacturing.
Steve, one of the co-founders of SeatAdvisor, has been in the software development business for more than 25 years. After receiving his degree from the University of California at San Diego, he spent 12 years in system programming, Unix kernel drivers, raster/vector graphics applications, and graphical user interface code development for a wide range of products. For four years he led a team of programmers deploying document imaging applications for Unix platforms. Steve spent three years running his own consulting firm specializing in distributed client/server network applications before joining SeatAdvisor. His contracts included key roles on the Sun Microsystems UE10000 server project, the CNGT ESCRIPT2 system, a three-tier accounting application for natural gas transmission in West Virginia and a networked bond trading system conceptualized at Cal Tech and in use by State Street Bank of Boston. As CTO of SeatAdvisor, Steve researches and designs prototypes and implements new features within SABO, maintaining the company’s competitive edge in the industry. As the tech team member with the longest tenure and most in depth knowledge about the various system components, Steve monitors the system on a daily basis to ensure performance is meeting the needs of our customers, including hands-on monitoring of large on-sales.
Ann Chamberlin has created and implemented high-impact sales strategies for B2B technology companies in the SaaS, software and hardware sectors. Her key strengths are growing revenue, expanding markets and maximizing profit by creating high-performance sales teams, building repeatable sales processes and expanding markets for early-stage and F1000 organizations. Prior to SeatAdvisor, Ann was the VP of Sales for MicroPower, a manufacturer of solar-powered, wireless security cameras, where she achieved more than ten times the industry average growth. At Send Word Now, a SaaS based provider of Emergency Notification services, she focused on sales efficiencies and increased revenue per sales person by 20% year-over-year. During Ann’s six year tenure at Everbridge, another SaaS based provider of Emergency Notification services, she launched the company’s enterprise, SMB, higher education and partner initiatives. She also helped the company open many new markets, substantially helping them achieve greater than 200% growth. Earlier, Ann re-engineered a new SMB channel group for Zyxel and built an enterprise sales and account management team for Intel and Trillium. Her strategic vision and tactical savvy resulted in her teams realizing maximum performance in an ever changing competitive landscape. Ann earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific and an MA in International Business from Webster University in The Netherlands.
Ramsey is an entrepreneurial product management executive with over 20 years of experience leading product, engineering, and design teams to deliver well-designed, impactful, and disruptive digital products. Ramsey’s extensive background has seen him work in Fortune 100 companies as well as startups where he has delivered world-class products in both the B2C and B2B space. His expertise spans across audience engagement, real-time messaging, advertising technology, social media, search, and digital TV platforms.
Ramsey began his career at Silicon Graphics and since then has held senior product management positions for the Walt Disney Internet Group, Yahoo!, and Blyve, a real-time live Q&A startup which he ran as CEO for 6 years. Ramsey holds a degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he graduated in 1995. Ramsey is an avid photographer with a passion for landscape and travel photography.
Craig is responsible for leading the marketing efforts at SeatAdvisor including lead generation, branding, public relations, marketing communications and product marketing. He joined SeatAdvisor with more than 20 years experience building and leading high performing business-to-business marketing and product management teams. Most recently he was VP of Marketing at 3E Company, a Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq: VRSK) business, where he was responsible for leading global marketing that covered North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Prior to this, Craig has held executive marketing positions at both large and small companies including Active Network, Networkfleet, Experian, Stone Analytics and Ziff-Davis. His extensive industry experience includes Software as a Service (SaaS), enterprise software, information services, analytics and telematics. Craig earned a B.S. degree in Finance from San Diego State University.
Jolly has been with SeatAdvisor since 2008. In addition to overseeing the company’s HR department, Jolly also directs the day-to-day accounting responsibilities and supervises the month-end closing activities for various accounting functions. Jolly is also responsible for the preparation of all financial reports. Prior to joining SeatAdvisor, Jolly worked for Sony Electronics in their Home Products Division as a Senior Financial Analyst. During her time with Sony, Jolly was responsible for the overall analysis of financial statements, as well as the preparation of annual budgets, half year revised budgets, mid-range plans and other forecasts. Prior to relocating to San Diego, Jolly resided New York City, where she worked for many large corporations, namely Credit Suisse First Boston, where she served as the Senior Financial Analyst in their Global Market Data Services Division. Jolly holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Seton Hall University as well as a Master of Art in Art History from Hunter College.
Omar is a native of San Diego and joined SeatAdvisor in 2006 , bringing over a decade’s worth of experience in IT, Sales, Marketing, Web Development and Creative Administration to the table. Omar’s career began when he joined the team at the University of San Diego as the IT Administration and Graphics Coordinator. Omar’s achievements there eventually earned him the position of Creative Director for The IR Source, a reseller of the leading online based CRM software, Earnware, used by countless organizations throughout the United States. An avid concert and music festival enthusiast, it was a natural fit for Omar to eventually bring his skills to the ticketing industry. Throughout his time with SeatAdvisor, Omar has worn many hats helping shape the application and direct the corporate brand. His foresight in mobile advancements and social media trends has positively impacted the trajectory of SeatAdvisor, and he currently serves as both Director of Product Management as well as Creative Director for the company. Omar and his wife reside in San Diego with their Chihuahua Julian, the SeatAdvisor “office mascot.”
A native of Ireland, Rory joined the team at SeatAdvisor’s San Diego Global Headquarters in 2011, having previously spent six years as the Operations Manager for SeatAdvisor Europe, located in Dublin. During his time in Ireland Rory was responsible for all new client go lives, onsite training, client support and hardware implementations as well as liaising with the US team to handle remote quality assurance and testing. Prior to working in the European office, Rory worked in the telecommunications field with Vodafone, one of the world’s largest mobile and broadband networks, in their retail sales division. Rory is also a shareholder in the European arm of SeatAdvisor and sat on the Board of Directors during his tenure there.
A native of Chicago, Steve completed his degree in Theatre from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. His theatrical career began as a House Manager for The Vineyard Theatre in NYC but went on to include box office roles with TheatreworksUSA and grassroots marketing roles with 101 Productions, Ltd, a Broadway Theatrical Management Company. Prior to joining the team at SeatAdvisor as a Client Account Manager, Steve spent nearly 9 years working for the legendary Tony Award Winning Broadway producer, Daryl Roth, as both an Associate General Manager for her Union Square venue and as Director of Marketing for many of her off-Broadway productions and special events. During his time at The Daryl Roth Theatre, Steve managed over 900 performances of the International Hit, De La Guarda. He boasts a collection of over 1,000 ticket stubs from various events he has attended thus far (as a patron), and he takes great pleasure in working with venues of all kinds to ensure they are benefiting from SABO as much as possible.
